Fabien Miller graduated from Laval University in 1985 (B.Eng. in Mining Engineering) and in 1987 (M.Sc. in Rock Mechanics). He started his career in Toronto as a consultant for Golder Associates. From 1988 to 1996, he acted as a researcher-developer at the Noranda Technology Centre. Fabien Miller has developed and patented several technologies including the CMS (Cavity Monitoring System) that has advanced the industry and is now universally used in underground mines.

Fabien Miller was also General Manager and co-founder of SIAMtec. In 2000, this company, specializing in mining automation, has developed and installed the very first 26-tonne fully automated trucks at Brunswick Mining. He later became Mine Manager, Eastern Canada at Komatsu.

He founded TSO, a consulting company in technology and energy efficiency for the mining field. His interest for the development of technological solutions to specific problems brings him to found Inn-Oxx in 2012 in order to develop and commercialize innovative products for the health and safety as well as productivity such as Visi +, Nuvu, etc.

Since 2015, Inn-Oxx is partnered with Nemesis Industrial Intelligence where Mr. Miller became Vice President Mines. Since September 2014, he acts as Energy Manager at Goldcorp (Éléonore Mine) while assisting in the implementation of the Ventilation on Demand, Compressorless, and development of an energy management program based on ISO 50001.
